Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Sara was a member of the in-house legal team of an asset management firm, assisting with leasing, operations and procurement matters.

Sara was our first legal designer and was responsible for introducing human-centered design thinking, user research, and design methodologies to solve legal problems into our global NRF Transform change and innovation program. Through the design of information, processes and services, collaboration with legal and business teams, and data and technology support, Sara focuses on developing new or improved services that are usable for clients. He also assists government affairs on a range of issues such as algorithm regulation, protection of local journalism and copyright. She is currently a member of the Advisory Board of the Future of Privacy Forum. Sara graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2014, where she was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Gender and the Law symposium. After law school, she was awarded a fellowship in politics and law at the Amara Law Center. Sara is originally from Chicago and attended the University of Illinois, where she earned bachelor`s degrees in political science and English. Previously, Sara was a Policy Advisor with the Future of Privacy Forum`s Youth Education and Youth Privacy Team, which specializes in higher education and young adult issues. She has also worked as an investigative lawyer in the Federal Student Aid Enforcement Unit and as Director of Legal Services for Veterans Education Success.
