The Sponsors accept no responsibility for cancellations, delays or other changes by any company or person providing any element of the Prize for reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor and are not responsible for any expenses incurred as a result. The date and/or time of the scheduled visit may change. Set The tour can be cancelled. Set tour elements are submitted and are not responsible for changes to the production schedule, production requirements or delays, postponements or cancellations of the set tour. If the winner chooses to travel with fewer than three (3) guests or none, the remaining elements of the prize will constitute the complete performance of the Sponsor`s obligation to the winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. Guests may be required to issue and return compensation and, to the extent permitted by law, release announcements (collectively, the “Guest Materials”) that must be returned with the Contest Materials, otherwise the guest portion of the prize may be forfeited. If a guest is a minor, the winner must be a parent or guardian of that minor and must sign and return the guest`s documents on behalf of that minor. ELIGIBILITY: Open to permanent and legal U.S. citizens who physically reside in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands and other U.S.
territories) and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time the Contest Period begins. Officers, directors and employees of the Competing Companies (as defined below), immediate family members of such persons (spouses and/or parents, children and siblings, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of their place of residence) and/or persons living in the same household as such persons (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter or win the Contest. Participants mentioned herein include American Ninja Warrior and NBCUniversal Media, LLC, both located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10112 (collectively, the “Sponsors”), Universal City Studios, LLC d/b/a Universal Studios Hollywood, 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608 (“Prize Provider”), Vox Media Inc., 1201 Connecticut Ave. NW, 11th Fl., Washington D.C. 20036 (“Vox Media”), Canam Productions, Inc. and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as administrative, advertising and promotional agencies, and any other companies involved in developing, administering, promoting or administering the Contest. The participant understands that, although they believe that their submission is unique and new, there may already be similar ideas, concepts or proposals to the entrant`s submission. By submitting the entrant`s entry, the entrant acknowledges that others, including the Sponsors` own employees and Vox Media, may have posted or may in the future create and submit or publish similar or identical ideas, concepts or suggestions that the Sponsors and/or Vox Media are permitted to use. and the Entrant understands that he/she will not be entitled to any compensation because the Sponsor or Vox Media uses such similar or identical ideas, concepts or suggestions in any way. The Participant understands and agrees that the use by the Sponsors and Vox Media of materials containing similar or identical features or elements to the Participant`s Participation does not oblige the Sponsors or Vox Media to negotiate with the Participant or to give entitlement to compensation if the Sponsors or Vox Media determine: they have an independent right to use such other material for any reason (for example, because the features or elements are not new or new, do not originate from the participant, or may be independently created and submitted by any other person, including the participant`s employees). These lawsuits concern the winner of the American Ninja Warrior, Drew Drechsel, who was arrested for pedophilia.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: The Sponsors reserve the right to permanently ban any person who they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules from any promotion. Any attempt to intentionally damage the Contest or its operation is illegal and may be subject to legal action by the Sponsors, who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure of the Sponsors and Vox Media to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to acts of God, hurricanes, wars, fires, riots, earthquakes, terrorism, acts of enemies of the state, acts of governmental authorities beyond the control of the Sponsors and Vox Media (other than compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or any other act of God will not be considered a Violation of these Official Rules. The indemnified parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to entrants` or any other person`s computer resulting from the seizure or downloading of any materials or software in connection with the Contest. The Indemnified Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of input information; for errors in advertising or marketing materials or in these Official Rules; in the event of human or electronic error; or for entries that have been stolen, misdirected, maimed, delayed, lost, late, damaged or returned. The Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest or any element thereof (including, but not limited to, these Official Rules) without notice, in any manner and for any reason (including, but not limited to, the possibility of an unforeseen event not fully covered by these Official Rules). In the event of cancellation, modification or suspension, the Sponsors reserve the right to select winners in a random draw from among all eligible and non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the event that warrant such cancellation, modification or suspension. Notice of cancellation, modification or suspension will be posted on the Website. The Sponsors may exclude any entrant or potential entrant from participation in the Contest if such entrant or prospective entrant fails to comply with these Official Rules; acts with the intent to harass, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant, sponsor, agent or representative of the sponsor; or otherwise behaves in a disruptive manner (as determined by the Sponsors in their sole discretion).
The Sponsors reserve the right to amend these Rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest. Each entrant represents and warrants that he/she has had the opportunity to discuss the possible negative consequences associated with participation and disclosure of his/her participation and/or patents in and in connection with the Contest, as well as patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, other intellectual property and other applicable laws and any other matter, with its own independent legal counsel. Participants will discuss in detail. and that the participant knowingly and voluntarily assumes all associated risks. The Participant understands that if at any time he or she has any questions or concerns, he or she should discuss them with his or her own independent legal counsel. The entrant acknowledges that this Contest is not intended to replace the explanations and advice provided by the entrant`s independent legal counsel.
